I happened to hear Cantalouper’s song and then went to their free show in Columbia and picked up their album. It has a great shoegazy feel with lots of distortion while at the same time filled with melodic riffs and thoughtful lyrics. It took me a couple listens to really get hooked but now it’s one of those comfort-food cds I can always listen to when I feel like something more mellow.
